The melanin inside the hair absorbs the light from the laser pulse. The light energy is converted into heat beneath the skin. This prevents the hair from growing back.

How long does it take to work?

With correct use, the first results can already be seen after 3 weeks. Most people report visible results and changes in hair growth after the third to fourth session. However, everyone is different, so treatment times may vary from person to person

Will it work for me?

The Silky Professional works perfectly on brown, black and dark blonde hair on very light to dark brown skin.

Unfortunately, it does not work on light blonde, red, grey or white hair and is not suitable for very dark skin.

How does the application work?

Shave, wax or epilate the body area you want to treat.
Wait until the first small stubbles start to grow back.
Use the Silky Professional at a 90-degree angle on the selected area with one of the available intensity levels.
Continuously glide the device over the area and press the pulse button.
Always wear the protective goggles included in the package.

When should I not use IPL?

Do not use IPL if you suffer from:
