The IPL hair removal device sends gentle light pulses through the pigment (melanin) in the hair directly to the root. This generates heat, which damages the hair follicle so that existing hairs fall out after 3–20 days and new hairs are prevented from growing back. Will it work for me?

The Silky Professional works on brown, black and dark blonde hair on very light to dark brown skin.

It does not work on light blonde, red, grey or white hair and is not suitable for very dark skin.
